I've always considered myself to be pretty talented at things such as writing or cooking. Also things such as athletics have always been a strong suit of mine.

What skill or talent would you like to improve?
I would really like to improve my public speaking skills. Speaking has always been something I've struggled with at and it would be a very beneficial skill to develop. I would also like to improve my ability to play the saxophone as I stopped being involved in band when high school started I would like too refine my skills.
What are you already doing that could be part of your CAS programme?
I currently do things such as volunteering at voting booths every voting cycle.
What would you like to be involved in?
At some point in the future I would like to be involved in the legal system initially in the form of working as an attorney and eventually becoming a judge.
Describe a time when you helped someone or helped with a cause.
When I was volunteering at polling stations we would often have people who would bring in absentee ballots which they cannot use to vote. When this happened I would have to call City Hall to have them spoil these ballots so that person could properly vote.
Describe a time when someone helped you.
I remember a time I was in the weight room after school when I first started to lift and I really had no idea what I was doing. It was leg day so I ended up going to the squat racks and trying to barbell squat, since I had never done it before I ended up doing it in a way that was dangerous and that's when an upperclassmen stepped in and showed me the proper way to preform the lift.
About what issues do you have concern or feel passionate about?
One of my biggest concerns as of late has been what in my opinion has been our government overstepping boundaries that had been set many years ago. Examples of this could be recent SCOTUS rulings overturning precedents set by Roe V. Wade and Engel V. Vitale.
What would you like to learn more about?
I would like to learn more about law and government. I've always been very interested in law and government but I've found it can be a very tedious subject at times so I'd like to put more time into that.
What have you always wanted to try but haven't?
I have always wanted to try snowboarding. I don't do any winter sports right now and living in Michigan we get snow every winter so I think it would be good to learn how to snowboard.
